In His Eyes

What do I see in His eyes?
Whole galaxies yet unmade.
Places barely thought of.
Creatures unimagined.
The light of Heaven, pure and unfettered.
Love that is fiercer than lions and stronger than death.
Kingly authority, love of the Shepherd,
Submission to the Father, joy beyond reckoning.
Hope and peace, dissuading all turmoil and dismay.
Outrageous grace that brings tears for its tenderness.
Freedom for the captives and healing to the unwhole.
Loyalty beyond my capacity, and an offer of covenant.
